Our take on Air Strike
The three modes provide different opponents and aircraft, but each uses an endless structure. Invasion mode adds the objective of driving away space invaders; the other modes focus on air combat, survival time, and scoring.
What is Air Strike?
Air Strike is an air-combat action game with three endless modes.
Classic mode uses a World War II aircraft against opposing planes, with a rapid-fire machine gun and slower explosive shells. Modern mode puts a contemporary fighter into air combat with a machine gun, two missile types, and heat traps for diverting incoming missiles. One missile type has two rounds, high damage, and high targeting accuracy; the other has ten rounds, lower damage, and lower targeting accuracy. Invasion mode uses the modern fighter against space invaders, with the objective of driving them away. Each mode has no fixed endpoint. A run's results depend on survival time and points scored for destroying enemies.
