Our take on Air Conflicts: Secret Wars
The accessible Arcade control scheme gives up some aircraft-control detail compared with the Simulation option. Players choosing the simpler handling have fewer control options, while the alternative mode adds more aircraft management during missions.
What is Air Conflicts: Secret Wars?
This arcade flight simulation covers World War I and World War II settings through seven campaigns and 49 missions.
Objectives include patrolling, stealth, hit-and-run attacks, bombing, escorting, combat, and exploration. Players select from more than 16 aircraft, each with different strengths and weaknesses, then engage enemy planes, ground targets, troops, and vehicles with machine guns, bombs, and rockets. After some missions, players can improve skills affecting aircraft maneuvering, endurance, or wingman performance. Two control schemes are available: Arcade simplifies aircraft handling, while Simulation offers more control options. The game supports mouse and keyboard or gamepad input, along with local and internet multiplayer for up to four players.
