Our take on AI Olympius
Rather than keeping shooting separate from progression, AI Olympius combines third-person combat with character development, robot conversion, and a base-building mode tied to the campaign. Its two-player local or network co-op also departs from the usual solo-focused shooter structure.
What is AI Olympius?
AI Olympius is a story-driven third-person shooter with RPG elements about a resistance fighting combat drones controlled by a supreme artificial intelligence.
Its campaign spans 30 missions set across different planetary sectors, with about 35 hours of gameplay in early access. Players collect resources, develop a character, improve skills, gain abilities, and apply more than 60 weapon and costume modifications. The game also includes a separate base-building mode connected to the main story, where players create, defend, and improve a base for resource extraction. AI Olympius compared to similar games
AI Olympius combines third-person shooting, RPG progression, robot control, and base construction, while Ghost of a Tale centers on stealth, exploration, disguises, and conversations in an animal-populated medieval setting. Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is also a cooperative action RPG, but its scope adds tower defense, loot, pets, leveling, and character customization rather than AI-controlled combat robots and a campaign-linked base-building mode.
