Our take on Age of Water
The open-world framing gives equal weight to exploration, trade, construction, and combat, but the multiplayer conflict is introduced as a later option after computer-controlled encounters. The Gold Edition also changes the opening boats and crew rather than adding access to the most advanced vessels.
What is Age of Water?
Set on a post-apocalyptic planet submerged beneath the ocean, this online adventure lets players steer through rough weather, visit settlements, undertake missions, barter cargo, harvest materials from the seafloor, and investigate the setting’s mysteries.
Vessels may be constructed or refitted using different hulls, components, gear, protection, and weapons, with crew members running systems aboard. Battles at sea involve sinking or taking enemy craft, assaulting strongholds, and protecting settlements. A private harbor enables production of gear, arms, boat frames, and supplies. Computer-controlled foes dominate the opening stages, while later play introduces player combat, including disputes connected to smuggling missions. The Gold Edition provides 3000 Corks, 250 000 Medallions, improved boats at the start, and alternate crew versions.
How Age of Water plays
- 01Boat construction
- Dozens of hulls and hundreds of parts can be combined into vessels up to 30 meters long.

- 03Personal base
- The base supports production of boat hulls, weapons, equipment, and required resources.
- 04PvE and PvP
- Computer-controlled enemies appear first, while player challenges become available later.
- 05Gold Edition items
- The edition includes 3000 Corks, 250 000 Medallions, upgraded starting boats, and altered early-level crew skills.
