Our take on Adventure World
Freedom of action comes with moral limits: players can ignore the main story and take harmful actions, but repeated wrongdoing lowers morality and can end the heroine’s career. The game trades strict quest structure and harsh defeat penalties for experimentation and personal choice.
What is Adventure World?
Adventure World is a fantasy action RPG about Alisa, an adventurer who explores a kingdom where towns form around monster-filled dungeons.
The main story provides direction, but players can ignore it and act independently. Street NPCs can become partners or be taken for money. Combat offers three styles, with partners providing different kinds of support. Dungeons do not require one specific solution, and defeat carries little penalty, allowing repeated attempts with different tactics. Moral choices affect progression: continued wrongdoing lowers morality and can end Alisa’s career.
How Adventure World plays
- 01Flexible Story Path

- 04Morality Consequences

- 05Open Dungeon Tactics

Adventure World compared to similar games
Adventure World centers on dungeon exploration, three combat styles, partner support, and morality-driven consequences. Ghost of a Tale emphasizes stealth, disguises, conversations, and exploration, while Vagante presents a dark fantasy adventure focused on monsters, demons, and dangerous travel.
