Play it if you…

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want forgiving mistakes may hit a wall when a regenerating floor traps the character and ends a life.
- Players who prefer direct controls for escaping pits may struggle because the character cannot jump or climb out and cannot dig directly below.
- Players looking for combat-focused action may find the main task centers on collecting gold and avoiding guards.
Our take on Adventure of a Digger
The sharpest sticking point is the digging system: holes close over time, and the player cannot climb out or dig directly underneath. A poorly planned descent can leave no escape except aborting the level and losing a life.
What is Adventure of a Digger?
Collect all the gold in each level while avoiding guards, then touch the top of the screen to continue.
Levels use brick platforms, ladders, and overhead bars for movement. Digging holes can temporarily trap guards, but the floors later close again; guards caught inside reappear at the top, while the player dies if unable to escape. Trapdoors and solid bedrock also affect movement and digging. The player cannot jump or climb out of a hole, and a level restart after being caught costs a life. The game starts with five lives, with an extra life for each completed level. Some puzzles require using guards to reach gold or cross gaps, so digging and movement timing matter.
How Adventure of a Digger plays
- 01Digging and traps
- Holes can hold guards temporarily, but regenerating floors can trap the player permanently.
- 02Guard-based puzzles
- Some levels require exploiting guards to collect gold or using a falling guard to cross a gap.
- 03Lives and restarts
- The game begins with five lives, awards one for each completed level, and subtracts one when a guard catches the player.
