Our take on Advent NEON®
Its focus on speed and technical movement leaves less room for slower exploration or broadly paced combat. The game asks players to engage with attack chains, dashing, parries, and power management rather than relying on a small set of basic moves.
What is Advent NEON®?
Advent NEON is a 2D action platformer set in Neopolis.
Neon fights robots while trying to recover the creator’s body. Combat includes attacks in multiple directions, cancelable moves, chained combos, parries, and the ability to freeze time and the level timer. Neon can dash in eight directions, use wavedashing, move along walls, and use slopes to reach a High Speed State. Resonance increases power, enables stronger hits, and allows transformation at full strength. A Training Room lets players spawn enemies and try items and combos. Options include remappable controls, support for multiple controllers, held inputs, and adjustments to effects opacity.

Advent NEON® compared to similar games
Sundered: Eldritch Edition is also an action platformer, but its description identifies it as a metroidvania with a roguelite structure, while Advent NEON centers on rapid attacks, directional dashing, time freezing, parries, and transformations. Jusant focuses on climbing, stamina management, and exploration rather than combat-driven platforming.
