Our take on Acquitted
Rather than keeping combat in fixed arenas, the game places fights on randomly generated maps that can be damaged. Building defenses is part of the shooter format, while enemies can break through cover and approach from multiple directions.
What is Acquitted?
Acquitted is a satirical zombie shooter that mixes shooting and melee combat with barricade building and turret defense.
Each run takes place on a randomly generated, destructible map, where enemies attack from different directions, throw projectiles, break barriers, and use fire or other attacks to limit movement. Larger zombies can tear through walls, while their bodies may obstruct paths or provide cover. Players can choose from 18 weapons and items, and customize the main character. The game includes 100 levels, hand-drawn artwork, and original music. Its controls use WASD and mouse aiming. The vendor says the difficulty and strategic complexity rise over time as different enemy behaviors combine.
