Our take on Acaratus
Rather than using a conventional fantasy setting, the game places tactical RPG combat in a medieval steampunk world built around customizable mechanized suits. Its map structure also replaces a fixed journey with randomized exploration, encounters, and events.
What is Acaratus?
Acaratus is a turn-based tactical RPG set in a medieval steampunk world.
The story follows Adina, a rich slave dealer who becomes the leader of a rebellion against Emperor Helios and recruits enslaved people to oppose his regime. Gameplay centers on constructing mechanized battle suits with modular attachments and using them in tactical fights. A randomized map provides exploration, encounters, and unexpected events. Collectible cards can be selected to fit different play styles. Battle arenas let players fight against one another. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the game, a digital artbook, and a soundtrack.
