Mona De Lafitte, an opera singer transformed into a vampire, is held in a gloomy castle by Baron Shrowdy von Kiefer.
When he fails to return from a nightly outing, Mona escapes with Froderick, her cheeky bat companion, and begins traveling across Draxsylvania toward Paris. The journey uses a classic point-and-click adventure structure, with strange inhabitants, unusual challenges, and more than 30 hand-drawn 2D locations. Mona's vampire powers and their restrictions form part of the gameplay as she learns to use them during her flight. The game includes more than 25 characters and presents its environments through a real-time 3D multi-plane camera.
