Our take on 9-nine-:Episode 3
Its focused episode format keeps attention on Haruka's story, but gives less room to a single continuous narrative across the whole series. The plot can be read independently, though it remains one volume in a larger sequence.
What is 9-nine-:Episode 3?
This third episode in the 9-nine- series centers on Haruka Kosaka and follows an investigation into supernatural murders involving Artifacts, objects that grant powers to their owners.
The story takes place in Shiromitsugawa, where Kakeru Niimi, Miyako Kujo, and Sora Niimi pursue the person responsible for using an Artifact to petrify victims. Their investigation brings them into conflict with Rig Veda, an organization of Artifact users whose members include Haruka. The episode combines the mystery with a developing romance between the protagonist and heroine. Each episode has an independent story, and this one offers two endings. It also includes CG, music, and movie galleries, full Japanese voice acting, and Japanese, English, and Chinese text with dual-language display options.
