What is 8-Bit Invaders!?
8-Bit Invaders!
is a retro real-time strategy game for PC in which players command either the Galactic Marine Corps or the alien Cranioids. The core cycle involves collecting resources, constructing a base, assembling an army, and attacking opponents. The game includes a 24-mission offline campaign, technology that develops after victories, and a strategic metagame involving invasions of new worlds. Ten additional missions support cooperative play. Skirmish maps support battles for 2, 4, 6, or 8 players against human or AI opponents.
