Our take on 3DRPG
The store presentation gives equal weight to random exploration, recruitment, crafting, and gathering, but the central story is a revenge quest in the Underworld. That narrative premise is present, though it receives less emphasis than the feature list and procedural structure.
What is 3DRPG?
Explore a voxel-based RPG world whose towns, dungeons, and inhabitants are generated randomly.
Every character can join the party, while hunting and fishing provide food. Dungeons contain treasure and monsters, and mines offer minerals to gather. The story follows a lost soul who escapes the Underworld and agrees to serve Burzur, its lord, by tracking down the person responsible for the character’s death. Combat uses an old-school Japanese RPG structure with an added twist. The game includes a mentor system, crafting for armor, weapons, and potions, 15 professions, five weapon categories, more than 350 equipment items, and over 50 enemy types.

3DRPG compared to similar games
3DRPG centers on a randomly generated voxel world with recruitable characters, gathering, crafting, and old-school RPG combat. Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition emphasizes an unconventional story, characters, and exploration, while Back to the Dawn focuses on prison escape, investigation, crime, and survival. Ghost of a Tale combines action-RPG play with stealth, disguises, conversations, and exploration in an animal-populated medieval world.
