Skip it if you…

- Players looking for a real-time combat system instead of turn-based battles
Our take on 畜神
The countdown gives the campaign a firm pace, but it also limits how long the team can train and explore before the final confrontation. Reaching the end therefore requires prioritizing world objectives instead of freely developing every possible character and equipment combination.
What is 畜神?
Animal God is a roguelite, turn-based RPG about forming a team from 24 resurrected warriors.
Players train the group while traveling through the world to weaken the Void King before the countdown ends. The game includes more than 40 playable characters, 30 unique levels, changing weather, interactions, over 300 equipment pieces, and more than 40 equipment-set effects. Random events add encounters during runs. Every 20 in-game days, an Elder Evil God awakens and applies negative effects. At 100 days, the team is sent to KUN City for the final battle, although the King can be challenged earlier. Destroying temples around the world reduces the final enemy's power.

畜神 compared to similar games
Shogun Showdown also uses turn-based roguelike combat, but centers on positioning, attack tiles, combos, and deck building before a Shogun fight. Back to the Dawn is a prison-escape RPG focused on survival, investigation, crime, and corruption, while Animal God centers on team training, world travel, equipment sets, random events, and a 100-day final-battle countdown.
