The many progression systems trade simplicity for build variety. Equipment effects, soul jades, artifacts, formations, alchemy, and other upgrades create several ways to customize characters, but they also make the game less suitable for players who want a minimal combat loop.
What is 傲世修仙录?
This RPG follows Lin Xiao as he enters a cultivation world disrupted by a time-traveling artifact and a conflict between opposing forces.
Progression combines equipment with special effects, cultivation manuals, techniques, artifacts that gain levels and passive abilities, and formations that change bonuses according to placement. Combat uses front and back rows rather than unrestricted target selection. Soul jades modify skills, with each character able to equip three and stack matching effects to create different builds. Additional systems include fishing for rare items and gear, alchemy, crafting, relics, luck-based upgrades, and other equipment enhancements. The game is tagged as both RPG and strategy.
