Our take on 孵道
Instead of building horror around extended exploration or elaborate narrative exposition, the game centers progression on the simple prohibition against looking back. Timed input turns that rule into the main interaction, while repeated failures at different points form the route to its 10 ending scenes.
What is 孵道?
Follow a student walking home after school under a warning never to turn around.
Quick-time prompts decide whether the protagonist keeps moving or looks behind; completing the required clicks preserves progress, while failure triggers an incident and a game over. One playthrough takes about 20 minutes, while collecting every ending takes roughly 1–2 hours. There are 10 ending scenes: nine game-over outcomes and one clear ending. Unlocking them all opens an extra section containing concept artwork, photographs, planning documents, flowcharts, and character specifications. The game uses monochrome manga-style visuals, spatial audio in some scenes, jump scares, frightening effects, graphic depictions, and unreal elements.
