What is 浮游?
Set in an ordinary working family’s home in a small Chinese county around the turn of the millennium, this narrative puzzle RPG combines investigation, item collection, riddles, and object use.
After waking from a dream of the parents arguing, the protagonist finds the home locked and empty, with unexplained questions surrounding crying creatures, an endlessly running television advertisement, and other impossible events. Exploring the house reveals everyday objects and traces of past life, while clues and memories gradually connect to explain the family’s undisclosed tragedy. The game uses surreal hand-drawn visuals, period-specific objects, local cultural details, and dialect voice acting. Its story includes themes of family trauma and school bullying, with some scenes potentially causing emotional distress or triggering reactions.
