Play as a cat that must reach fish, avoid pursuing temple guards, and return to its starting location at a specified time.
The cat cannot fight from the front or use stealth, so progress depends on choosing when and where to appear. Time travel allows movement across different rounds rather than requiring a fixed sequence, but the cat can appear only in plots adjacent to its current location, and a round used for an appearance cannot be selected elsewhere.
Guards move one step at a time and pursue the cat when it enters their vision, then wait at the point where it vanished. Levels use small spaces and limited rounds, with guards ranging from forward-looking sentries to later ones watching in four directions.
