Our take on Zink
The calm presentation may suggest a purely relaxing experience, but the chapter range reaches extremely high difficulty. The main activity is deliberate sequence planning, so the serene visuals do not indicate uniformly low challenge.
What is Zink?
Zink is a puzzle game about moving cubes across small islands and sending pieces into the ocean.
Levels contain different arrangements of cubes, sand pyramids, magnets, and other elements. Removing pieces makes the island contract around the objects that remain; a stage ends when one cube is left. The game has 65 chapters ranging from very low to extremely high difficulty, with new pieces introduced as play progresses. One-move hints offer guidance, while no timers allow levels to be played without time pressure. The visuals change during progression, and the game supports mouse, controller, and touch input.
