Our take on Zenza
The defining structure is a no-fail board: unwanted tiles can be removed, the deck can be cleared with wind, and moves can be undone, though these actions may reduce the final score.
What is Zenza?
Zenza is a strategic puzzle game inspired by Kigo Haiku, a form of Japanese poetry connected to seasonal themes.
Players put colors or shapes together to create balance while progressing through 80 increasingly challenging levels. The game follows four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter, with settings including a blooming cherry tree, a bonsai trimmed during rainy season, falling maple leaves, and a snow-covered oak. Zenza has no fail state. Players can slice away unwanted tiles, use wind to clear the tile deck, or undo a move, although these actions may lower the final score. The game includes dynamic 2D lighting, an original soundtrack, and a calligraphy pen for drawing moves.
