Our take on Zeno Clash
First-person action games commonly emphasize firearms, but this game places punches, grapples, deflections, and improvised weapons at the center of combat. Its punk-fantasy world also replaces familiar medieval imagery with surreal environments, unusual creatures, and a strange family conflict.
What is Zeno Clash?
Zeno Clash is a first-person action and fighting game set in the punk-fantasy world of Zenozoik.
Players control Ghat, a man banished by his brothers who begins a journey through a forbidden desert and toward the end of the world. Close combat includes deflect-and-elude combinations, knockback finishing punches, and grappling attacks. New attacks become available as the game progresses and enemies become more formidable.
The story follows Ghat and his companion Deadra through dangerous lands, while eccentric weapons made from scraps and junk include hammers and clubs that are effective against heavy characters. An unlockable survival mode sends players through tower levels against enemy waves, with ratings for speed and performance and leaderboards for comparing results with friends. The included model pack contains 70 characters and creatures for Garry's Mod.
