Our take on Zenith
Rather than treating an apocalypse and world-saving quest with solemn fantasy drama, Zenith frames them through jokes, parody, and an openly cliché premise. It also presents the story directly, replacing fragmented or deliberately obscure storytelling with a stated narrative.
What is Zenith?
Zenith is a single-player action RPG set in a fantasy world affected by dangerous ancient artifacts and wizardly mistakes.
Argus Windell, a retired arcanologist, becomes involved in keeping one of these devices away from reckless adventurers while an apocalypse unfolds during a war. The game combines exploration across a world map with battles against dangerous enemies and large bosses. Its story is presented as a complete narrative rather than requiring players to assemble it from fragments. The tone includes parody and references to popular culture. Combat includes special abilities, improved basic combo movements, and a finishing attack. The campaign uses a world-saving premise while treating it with humor and an irreverent cast.

Zenith compared to similar games
Zenith combines action-RPG combat, fantasy exploration, a world map, and a directly presented humorous story. Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition centers on an unconventional story and exploration of a strange city, while Ghost of a Tale focuses on action-RPG exploration with stealth, disguises, and conversations in an animal-populated medieval world.
