Is Zack Y worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Platform-action players who want a 12-level campaign with boss battles
- Players who enjoy controlling an alien antagonist instead of a human hero
- Players seeking short, demanding stages with traps, enemies, and time pressure
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a long campaign may hit the end of the 12-level structure quickly
- Players who dislike strict time pressure or difficult platform-action challenges may bounce off the short mission timers and demanding situations
- Players looking for crafting, shelter building, or survival management will not find those systems here
Our take on Zack Y
The bounce point arrives when the short mission timer meets the game's traps and enemy density. Players who can handle the platforming but need generous time to explore may stall before reaching the UFO, while the three boss encounters add another fixed difficulty spike.
What is Zack Y?
Play as Zack Y, an alien military general attempting to eliminate human armed forces and take control of Earth.
This 2D science-fiction platform action game contains 12 levels with enemies, traps, health boxes, ammunition, and other collectable items. Blue and yellow orbs are used to reach the UFO. Each stage presents time pressure, and the game is described as challenging and difficult to master. Three boss battles are included. The story follows an alien invasion opposed by human scientists and robotics experts, whose bots and missiles attempt to stop the attacking forces. The player takes the role of the invading side rather than the human defenders.
