Our take on You Must
Rather than treating a quest as a purely social or digital activity, the game turns the search into a dangerous physical expedition. A cash-prize scavenger hunt becomes the framework for first-person horror, with avoiding other players, investigating a military base, and survival replacing a simple item hunt.
What is You Must?
You Must follows an ordinary man who plays a social-network scavenger hunt to earn money for his younger brother.
The organizers move the search into the real world, giving participants coordinates for a hidden item and offering a cash prize to the first finder. Reaching the location is only part of the challenge: the protagonist must avoid being seen by other players, investigate an abandoned military base, open locked doors, and locate the quest item while trying to survive. The game uses a first-person perspective and survival-horror elements, with sound serving as a warning that the character is not alone. The story explains how the military base was abandoned and offers three possible endings.
