What is XANARTHRAXIA?
XANARTHRAXIA is a casual RPG clicker built around matching shapes during combat.
Players connect matching patterns to form attack chains before enemies respond, clear all tiles to restore health, and increase a combo gauge for a stronger special attack. Monsters appear across six procedurally generated worlds. Defeated enemies provide experience points, which raise the character's level and offer choices such as added armor, damage, or extra time.
Experience remains after death, and there is no level limit. Progress can be measured through worldwide leaderboards or personal high scores, with local statistics stored through Steam Cloud. The game uses one-button controls through the mouse or numpad, pixel artwork with a retro handheld style, an 8-bit soundtrack, five Steam achievements, and an unlockable Hardcore mode.
