What is X-note?
X-note mixes visual-novel storytelling and dating-simulation features.
It centers on Essi, a middle-school girl with powers beyond ordinary humans, who seeks answers about her mother’s death and the Xen Institute. Across a 30-day period, players develop her abilities, investigate locations around the school, record discoveries, and choose actions that affect the conclusion. The narrative combines a murder investigation, a person who has vanished, romantic relationships, and paranormal themes. Essi can pursue three romantic characters, while the game contains over 40 illustrations and nine possible endings.
