What is Winter Clothing?
Winter Clothing is a horror puzzle narrative set in Tianhe Town during the Winter Clothing Festival.
After his grandfather vanishes, Chen Yi goes to the base of a prohibited mountain to investigate possible supernatural activity and a deeper threat. The story incorporates Chinese folk practices and beliefs, such as animal spirits, communicating with the dead, nocturnal marriage rites, paper offerings, possession, and social prohibitions. Players search temples, village roads, and the mountain for objects, operate mechanisms, and decode locks. Chen may call up the dead to view memories and concealed incidents. Decisions alter the investigation, with several possible endings. Regret medicine can be found and spent to change responses before the finale.
