What is Widget Satchel?
Play as Sprocket, a ferret escaping a playpen and crossing a remote space station to reach the shuttlebay.
The game combines platforming, puzzles, hidden collectibles, secret routes, machinery to manipulate, and areas that can be revisited. Collecting widgets increases the satchel’s weight, making movement and avoiding maintenance bots harder. Stashed widgets can be fabricated into five doohickeys, built in any order to open new routes and reach elevated areas. Sprocket cannot be hurt, and there is no game over, so progress can focus on speed, exploration, mischief points, widget collection, or finding all 30 pairs of socks. Replay goals include higher widget counts, larger mischief scores, and faster completion times, with 20+ Steam Achievements to discover.
