Our take on Whitetail Challenge
Rather than treating hunting as an isolated activity, the game places it inside a survival structure with hunger, exposure, predators, and staged area progression. The pursuit of a legendary buck becomes the endpoint of a five-level journey instead of a standalone hunt.
What is Whitetail Challenge?
Whitetail Challenge combines deer hunting with survival hazards across five hunting levels: Pine Barrens, Cypress Swamp, Brushlands, Winter Woods, and Alpine Forest.
Hunger, exposure, and predator attacks can end a run, while day-and-night cycles shape the environments. The objective is to progress through the first four areas before facing a legendary buck in the alpine setting. Players choose between a Mossberg Patriot rifle and a Mossberg Model 500 12-gauge shotgun. Achievements reward finding survival items, harvesting deer, and advancing through the hunting levels. The game focuses on observation, hearing, survival knowledge, and movement through changing wilderness environments.
