Our take on vridniX
The constant running gives the platforming momentum, but leaves less room for a slow, measured pace. Boss fights also remove attacking as an option, so encounters rely on something other than direct offense.
What is vridniX?
vridniX is a story-driven platformer about a small creature who sets out to stop an invasion, while his actions damage the places he travels through.
He is always running, and can bounce off walls, cling to ceilings with his tongue, and flip in mid-air. Special orbs let him rotate levels. The game spans 6 worlds and over 100 levels, with cutscenes featuring unusual characters and boss fights where attacking is not possible. Its story follows a selfish, lazy protagonist who wants others to worship him. The vendor lists gameplay lasting more than 7 hours.
