Rather than giving every player the same controls, the game divides diner work between a VR chef and a computer-based waiter. Its central challenge comes from communication between unequal roles, replacing the usual single-player cooking interface with a shared local setup.
What is VR The Diner Duo?
VR The Diner Duo is a diner-management game for HTC Vive with single-player and local multiplayer modes.
In multiplayer, one player cooks in VR while another uses the connected computer to take orders and serve drinks. Players communicate while handling randomized customer requests within limited time. The game includes more than 30 levels with increasing difficulty, 14 recipes, an endless mode with a local high score, and cosmetic customization for both characters. Kitchen settings can be adjusted for different heights and sizes. Kid mode, Winter mode, and Bakery mode are also included.
