What is Veriscape?
Veriscape is a rhythm platformer presented through horizontal-scrolling stages shaped by music.
Progress depends on matching jumps to the beat and keeping up as the soundtrack grows faster and more intense. A deadly zone follows behind each segment, creating pressure to maintain momentum. Characters move with A and D or the left and right arrow keys, while the space bar supports single, double, and triple jumps. The narrative concerns humans and machines after a worldwide conflict, with an artificial intelligence confining the surviving people inside a simulated realm named Veris. The project originated from a game-jam concept focused on the afterlife.
