RPGIs Verdungo worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- RPG players who want to assemble a party from multiple character classes
- Players who enjoy gathering materials and making gear through crafting
- Adventure fans who want to choose which NPCs to help during an open-world journey
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long campaign may find the stated 15-20 hours too short
- Players who want a strictly linear adventure may dislike revisiting areas and choosing whom to help
- Players looking for a non-RPG experience may find party selection, leveling, combat, and skill development too central
Our take on Verdungo
The bounce point arrives when party planning and repeated progression systems become central. Players seeking a direct rescue journey may hit a wall at selecting four classes, assigning attribute points, repeatedly using skills, and managing trade skills.
What is Verdungo?
Rescue King Verdungo while traveling through a diverse open world that can be revisited after the tutorial.
Build a party of four from 16 playable classes, including Warrior, Cleric, Rogue, Paladin, and Ninja. Fight monsters, gain levels, assign points to character attributes, and improve class skills through use. Gear can be crafted, with Mining, Fishing, Crafting, and Alchemy available as trade skills. The game includes hundreds of crafting and alchemy recipes, plus a resource system where harvested materials regrow. NPCs and different factions appear during the journey, and players choose whom to help while making their way home. The world contains 150 monster types and 75 musical themes. The vendor gives an estimated gameplay duration of 15-20 hours.
