What is Veiled Edge?
Set in 2099, Veiled Edge follows Rapid, a former special forces mercenary working as an investigator for the Citadel, and Lena, a rookie hacker.
They investigate the disappearance of a five-year-old child within Full-Dive, a virtual-reality technology that lets people experience recorded events. The game combines action-platforming with different gameplay styles across its chapters. Lena can alter environments, open concealed routes, solve maze-like areas, and improve Rapid’s abilities through hacking. Rapid contributes combat skills as the pair investigate a wider conspiracy. Chapters introduce new locations, characters, mini-games, and challenges, with multiple ways to progress and finish them. The presentation uses pixel art within a cyberpunk setting.
