Players may hit a wall when they try to use a racing title outside the supported list: the data-capture workflow is limited to the named games. In-lap driver feedback also depends on a separately purchased VBOX Laptimer, so users without that device will not get that part of the setup.
What is VBOX Sim?
VBOX Sim captures race data and video from supported racing games for analysis in Circuit Tools, which is included and accessible through the help tab.
Supported games include iRacing, rFactor and rFactor 2, Project Cars and Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, RaceRoom Racing Experience, KraftKart, and F1 2017 through F1 24. VBOX Sim can also work with a VBOX Laptimer, sold separately, for driver feedback during a lap. The workflow centers on collecting data and video from a game, then reviewing laps in Circuit Tools.
