Skip it if you…

Our take on Vaporwave Drift
The fast, repeatable drift focus is clear, but the scope is limited to six maps, one vehicle-focused activity, and paint unlocks. The no-AI structure also makes this a solo leaderboard game rather than a race against opponents.
What is Vaporwave Drift?
Vaporwave Drift is a single-player driving game with no AI, built around fast drifting in a retro cyber setting.
It includes one playground map and five track maps, with a choice between modes that either calculate time or leave it out. Players can select a map, pursue total-laps leaderboard scores, complete goals to unlock car paints, or park and listen to the soundtrack. Each map includes bloom adjustment and an option to show or hide the interface. The game includes four retro music tracks and one EDM track, Steam achievements, leaderboard support, and Steam Cloud support for recorded top speed and unlocked paints. Its drift controls are presented as a simple system intended for quick starts and repeated runs.

Vaporwave Drift compared to similar games
Absolute Drift offers 34 tracks and event challenges, while Vaporwave Drift centers on six maps, total-laps rankings, and car-paint unlocks. JDM: Japanese Drift Master combines open-world driving with a story and Japanese street-racing themes; Vaporwave Drift instead presents standalone drift maps without that open-world story structure.
