Our take on Vampire Slayer: The Resurrection
The asymmetric design limits weapon access to the Slayer side. Vampire players instead depend on speed, strength, stealth, melee attacks, feeding, and resurrection. That creates distinct roles, but leaves firearms out of one team’s combat style.
What is Vampire Slayer: The Resurrection?
Vampire Slayer: The Resurrection is an asymmetric multiplayer first-person shooter with two opposing teams: Vampires and Slayers.
Slayers use traditional weapons, while Vampires rely on speed, strength, stealth, and melee attacks. Slayers must knock a Vampire down and stake it within a few seconds; otherwise, the Vampire resurrects. Vampires can feed on dead Slayers to regain strength, leap from tall buildings onto prey, and hunt in the dark. The game is based on an earlier Half-Life mod and centers on choosing between the two sides, each with different abilities and combat methods.
