Our take on Trouble Magnet
The game concentrates its structure on rowing between islands, overcoming obstacles, and collecting fuse capsules. That focused design leaves less room for extended exploration or more developed crafting and combat systems.
What is Trouble Magnet?
Charlie is transported to another time after bringing home an unusual object from a flea market.
To return, he must cross the ocean, paddle to more than 3 islands, and overcome obstacles on each one to collect fuse capsules. These capsules restore energy to the object that caused the time shift. Gameplay combines boat rowing, combat, island exploration, obstacle challenges, and a mini crafting system. The game includes more than 5 challenges, a mini story, and over 40 minutes of play time. Charlie must survive the dangers of the ocean while working through the islands and restoring the object’s energy.
