What is Trap Shrine?
Trap Shrine is a narrative visual novel set at Kotomusubi Shrine.
The protagonist, Masato, has trained to inherit the shrine but becomes dissatisfied with his prospects for ordinary romance. After seeking help from the local deity, he releases Yui, a cross-dressing goddess who declares herself his wife after recognizing him as the reincarnation of a former love. Masato must respond to Yui while dealing with his shrine maiden sister, Endou Mishiro, whose relationship with him becomes competitive after Yui arrives. Hinowa, a cute Komainu serving at the shrine, also appears among the cast but is not a heroine. The game has an estimated playtime of 2–4 hours.
