Our take on Tower of Doom
Players who depend on regular defensive recovery may hit a wall in Arcade and Archery modes, where shields cannot be regenerated and only four energy impulses are available. Archery Mode also removes gun selection and restricts combat to a bow and arrows.
What is Tower of Doom?
Tower of Doom is a VR arcade shooter focused on surviving enemy waves across multiple levels.
Normal Mode presents a new level each round, with rising difficulty, weapon selection, and a mini-game that can restore health and shields, upgrade weapons, and recover an energy impulse. Arcade Mode remains in one level with endless waves, no shield regeneration, four energy impulses, and health recovery tied to very high killstreaks. Archery Mode uses a bow and arrows instead of guns, with no shield regeneration and four energy impulses. The game includes 5 difficulty settings, 15 levels, 12 gun effects, 10 enemies, one boss fight, 3 game modes, one tutorial level, and one hidden power-up in each level.
