Our take on Tokyo Rogue
Tokyo Rogue departs from platformers that commonly divide progress with checkpoints. Its 24 handcrafted levels remove that safety net and center repeated movement attempts, while gem collection also feeds into hat and trail customization.
What is Tokyo Rogue?
Tokyo Rogue is a fast-paced parkour platformer set in a futuristic Tokyo.
Players control a nimble operative moving toward a rendezvous point across 24 handcrafted levels. The game features rooftop jumps, alley swings, boiling acid vats, and grappling-hook movement around obstacles. Each level has no checkpoints, making repeated attempts part of mastering its routes. Players can collect three gems in every level, and gathered gems unlock cosmetic options for the operative’s hat and trail. These options include stylish and comedic designs. The game presents a movement-focused challenge built around navigating hazards, completing levels, and collecting items while playing as a futuristic Tokyo operative.
