Is TinkerQuarry worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- RPG players who want a compact, uncanny setting rather than a conventional fantasy world
- Adventure players who enjoy environmental puzzles and exploratory progression
- Players who like stories involving unusual companions, sentient toys, and pursuing threats
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking combat-focused RPG systems may find the stated emphasis on puzzles and exploration insufficient
- Players who prefer relaxed exploration may bounce off the pursuit by Stayawhile and hostile creatures
- Players looking for a broad open world may find the floor-based dollhouse setting too contained
Our take on TinkerQuarry
The likely bounce point comes when exploration shifts into puzzle solving under threat. Players who want a combat-led RPG may hit a wall as the game asks them to investigate markings, navigate dollhouse floors, and deal with Stayawhile’s pursuit.
