- Players who dislike high-difficulty boss fights may struggle with opponents using recovery, corner traps, and pressure tactics.

Our take on Thunderblade Saga
The bounce point is the boss system: players must handle precise frame timing, parries, combo construction, and fighting-game-style pressure rather than relying on broad attacks. The direct revival point removes repeated map travel, but it does not reduce the difficulty of the encounter itself.
What is Thunderblade Saga?
Thunderblade Saga is a side-scrolling action game centered on continuous combat.
Players combine attacks, parries, Iaijutsu quick-draw techniques, ultimate moves, and more than 10 simultaneously usable skills. Defeating monsters unlocks additional skills, while an advanced frame system controls each action precisely. Bosses use fighting-game-inspired techniques such as instant recovery, hit confirmation, corner traps, and pressure play. The current Early Access version contains 6 levels divided into 30 smaller stages and 7 bosses with different styles. After a failed boss attempt, the revival system places the player at the boss door. The story follows Prince Keryan as he uses a thunder-powered sword to rescue his captured wife, Arya, and defeat the final boss.
