Three of Us is a strategy game set in a mysterious jungle occupied by monsters.
Players form a three-person team of warriors and lead them into battles while choosing an adventure route on the map. Equipment collected during the expedition can be linked through bonds that grant bond skills to the warriors. Blessings found along the way can guide bond formation and help the team deal with challenges. The forest may also impose negative effects, adding hazards during an expedition. Completing the forest once is followed by 20 difficulty levels, giving the game a progression beyond the initial journey. Its structure combines team formation, equipment choices, map-based route selection, blessings, negative effects, and monster battles.
