We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Adventure players who want story-led investigation and puzzles
- Mystery fans who enjoy switching between several protagonists
- Players seeking a surreal setting with adjustable puzzle difficulty
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking combat-focused gameplay rather than investigation and puzzle solving
- Those who prefer a short, linear viewpoint instead of switching among five characters and exploring at their own pace
- Players who do not want to read subtitles or follow a dialogue-driven mystery
Our take on Thimbleweed Park™
Its multi-character structure adds perspective to the mystery but requires attention across several storylines. Players looking for a single protagonist and a tightly directed sequence give up that simpler structure in exchange for the broader investigation.
What is Thimbleweed Park™?
Investigate a neo-noir mystery in the strange town of Thimbleweed Park, where five playable characters become connected to a dead body, an old factory fire, a ghost, and other unresolved questions.
Switch between the characters as they explore locations including a haunted hotel, abandoned circus, burnt-out pillow factory, and unusual town facilities. Puzzles connect with the unfolding story, while the world can be explored at an individual pace. Casual and Hard modes provide different difficulty levels. The game includes English voice acting and subtitles in English, German, French, Italian, Russian, and Spanish. A standalone mini-adventure featuring Delores is also included.
