Our take on The Whisperer
Rather than using the extended structure common to larger adventure games, this title presents its investigation in roughly 45 minutes. It also combines a complete standalone story with the role of a prelude to The Whispering Valley.
What is The Whisperer?
In 1814, Robert, a North West Company voyageur, travels to a deserted trading station in Lower Canada after its two winter inhabitants vanish.
He searches the isolated valley for clues and confronts the frightening events behind their disappearance. This brief, narrative-focused horror adventure uses point-and-click exploration, puzzles, an inventory, and object combination. It can be played on its own and connects to The Whispering Valley (2022) as a preceding story. Completion takes about 45 minutes, with its style rooted in classic horror adventure games.
