Our take on The Walking Vegetables
Each playthrough rearranges buildings, sections, enemies, bosses, weapons, and items, making procedural variation the defining structure of this top-down shooter.
What is The Walking Vegetables?
Set in an alien-invaded 1980s, this top-down shooter follows a member of Department Radical through cities, suburbs, and an alien headquarters.
Players shoot vegetable, fruit, and mushroom enemies while looting buildings for guns, gadgets, items, and gold. Radrocks obtained from Vegetable Kingpins unlock additional equipment, including melee weapons. More than 20 enemy types, several boss fights, and over 20 skills support character builds based on effect combinations. Buildings, sections, enemies, bosses, weapons, and items are randomized between playthroughs. Couch co-op lets a friend join the fight against the invading creatures.
