Our take on The Silent Swan
Players seeking fast pacing may bounce off during the extended traversal between objectives. The game’s relaxed tempo and oversized urban environments make movement through its spaces a central part of the experience.
What is The Silent Swan?
The Silent Swan is a slow, first-person narrative experience that combines walking-simulator mechanics with open levels.
After waking seventeen years in the future, Mirov enters the Land Beyond the Walls to search for the past he left behind and investigate the calamity that struck his home. The story follows two cities, Urzhum and Sernur, and two people, Selene and Mirov. Players cross enormous urban areas by following different objectives as the story develops. Scattered urban areas connect through landbridges, elevated routes that players navigate on quicycles. Exploration reveals letters and narrative threads across a desolate world filled with monumental structures and landscapes covered in mist.
