Our take on The Schizophrenic Dynasty of Müller
The pitch stresses that every decision matters and highlights an original story, but gives little concrete information about the decision structure, character interactions, or how the different historical periods are connected. The presentation therefore sets expectations around themes and premise more clearly than around moment-to-moment play.
What is The Schizophrenic Dynasty of Müller?
Play as a voice within the minds of successive members of the Müller dynasty.
Control the central character and speak with him while making decisions that shape the story. The dynasty must continue through offspring: if a character dies without a child, the voice also dies with him. The visual novel presents an original narrative across multiple historical periods, with references to history, art, psychology, and philosophy. Its presentation uses black-and-white visuals and frames the experience as an intellectual game. The store page also says that each major update adds new stories.
