Our take on The Political Process
The game has no fixed victory condition: a political career can continue through elections and legislation until the player chooses to retire.
What is The Political Process?
Create a politician affiliated with the Democratic or Republican party, choose a district from all 50 states and over 3,000 counties, and select over 40 policy positions.
Campaign for 9 types of office using platforms, canvassing, volunteers, fundraising, rallies, polls, and marketing. Write legislation across over 80 policy areas, guide bills through committees and votes, and manage budgets when holding a leadership position. Policies affect over 100 simulated metrics, while elections, approval ratings, party relationships, and political influence shape future opportunities. The game includes procedurally generated politicians, a campaign committee chair role, dictator mode, and an election simulator. There are no fixed win conditions, and some campaign activities repeat.
